The IPD / IPF UK Property Investment Awards are an annual event and are now in their 13th year. They identify demonstrated and consistently measured real estate investment performance across 10 investor categories in the UK.
The awards, determined by IPD using standardised data held in its extensive databases, recognise independently verified investment performance by pension and life funds, pooled funds, property investment companies and other professionally managed real estate portfolios in the UK.
Awards are also split by fund size and are based either upon absolute 3-year annualised returns, or sector-relative 3-year annualised returns (for specialist funds). There is a further award, based upon a 10-year risk adjusted return criterion, which focuses upon the long term consistency of performance track records.
To be considered, all funds must be members of the IPD Portfolio Analysis Service.
The awards were announced and presented to the winners on the 29th March 2012. For more information on the winners, please click here.
