The 2009 residential index results will be launched at 8.30am, beginning with a networking breakfast at 08:00am at the Royal Society of Medicine on Wimpole Street on the 13th April 2010. The theme of the launch is the strength of residential property as a long term investment relative to commercial property and demonstrating that residential is a credible investment class for institutions to move into.

IPD will be presenting an analysis of headline performance in the residential market for the calendar year to December 2009 which will include a long term comparison of residential investment performance relative to the performance of the main commercial property sectors in the same period.
 
Steve Carr, Head of New Business, Economics and Growth at the HCA, is confirmed to speak at the event which will also include a panel discussion from industry experts. The panellists and another speaker are to be confirmed in the coming days.
