History

IPD started in the UK in 1985 when Rupert Nabarro and Ian Cullen began to compile data from leading commercial property investors, resulting in the UK’s first reliable index of investment property performance. In the 1990s IPD started to export its products to other markets, adapting the service for differing real estate markets. IPD launched a new service for corporate occupiers of real estate in 1994. IPD’s Managing Director is Laurent Ternisien who continues to drive IPD’s mission which is to increase real estate market transparency.
