IPD was established in Germany in April 1998 as DID Deutsche Immobilien Datenbank GmbH. In 2007 it was renamed IPD Investment Property Databank GmbH. The company produces the Deutsche Immobilien Index DIX, the industry standard performance index for German direct property investments. 

Our team in the Wiesbaden office provides core IPD services such as our Portfolio Analysis Service, Benchmarking, Research and Market Information. They are also responsible for developing IPD Lease Intelligence, a multinational rental market analysis tool, which allows easy evaluation and benchmarking of letting performance based on data from real market leases.
